Description
The Council is inviting tenders for the provision of a “Hybrid Mail” solution, combining the existing operation for print and mail distribution through a competitive dialogue procurement processThe contract is for a 5 year period with the option to extend annually for a maximum of 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
The scope of the requirement is to make improvements and achieve efficiencies in the internal processes for merging print/mail outputs. In particular, to take advantage of technology and the use of electronic communication by streamlining the traditional method for print/mail sort.
The Council currently has different methods of managing print, inbound and outbound single/bulk mail, sent to individual employees and citizens of Derbyshire. The procurement process will select a preferred bidder with the capability to manage the solution and utilise the latest developments in digital technology in mail production and delivery.
As part of the process, the provider will need to demonstrate their capability and capacity to manage both bulk and single mail sort, generated from multiple Council sites.
