The Procurement Department at Northamptonshire Police, develops procurement strategy and guidelines and is responsible for all the goods or services purchased, ensuring appropriate contracts are in place. The overall aim is to achieve value for money in all the goods and services purchased in order for Officers, PCSOs and Police Staff to work effectively and focus on delivering a policing service to those living, working and visiting Northamptonshire. The procurement team ensure all procurements are conducted in a professional and responsible manner, compliant with relevant EU and UK legislation, taking account of: environmental impact; social and ethical issues; Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), and the Social Economy.
